Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using LaunchScore ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using LaunchScore, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
LaunchScore is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for validating startup ideas. The Service includes:
- Creating and managing studios (organizations) to organize your ideas
- Tracking and prioritizing startup ideas based on Interest Score
- Generating AI-powered landing pages to collect email signups and feedback
- Analytics and metrics to measure demand before building your product
- Custom domain support for professional landing pages
- Team collaboration features
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts
Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information as needed
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
Studios (Organizations)
Studios are workspaces that contain your ideas:
- You are responsible for all content created within studios you own
- Studio owners control member access and can remove members at any time
- Leaving a studio does not delete content you created within it
Account Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Plans
LaunchScore offers both free and paid subscription plans:
- Free plan: Limited features and usage quotas
- Paid plans: Enhanced features, higher quotas, and priority support
Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds
Due to the nature of digital services, we generally do not offer refunds. If you experience significant service issues, contact us at support@launchscore.app
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Upload malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorized access
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Share your account credentials with others
- Create landing pages for illegal, harmful, or deceptive products
- Collect email addresses under false pretenses or for spam
- Use custom domains to impersonate other brands
- Generate excessive load or abuse API rate limits
6. Content and Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create using LaunchScore. You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
AI-Generated Content
LaunchScore uses AI to generate landing page content and hero images:
- You may use AI-generated content for your business purposes
- AI content may require review and editing for accuracy
- You are responsible for ensuring AI content complies with applicable laws
- We make no warranties about AI-generated content accuracy
Subscriber Data
Email addresses and feedback collected through your landing pages belong to you. You are responsible for handling subscriber data in compliance with privacy laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, etc.).
7. Custom Domains
If you use custom domains with LaunchScore:
- You must own or have authorization to use the domain
- You are responsible for domain registration and DNS management
- We may suspend domains that violate these Terms
- Domain associations are subject to your subscription plan limits
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Third-Party Services
LaunchScore integrates with third-party services (Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, Anthropic, Replicate, Vercel, etc.). You are responsible for complying with their terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy policies, or practices.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Interest Scores will accurately predict market success
- AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs
LaunchScore provides tools for validation and does not guarantee business success.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAUNCHSCORE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LaunchScore and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another party.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LaunchScore operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at support@launchscore.app. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through the courts.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting updated Terms here and sending email notification to account holders. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
16. Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and LaunchScore regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
